Wonderluk: Quality over Quantity
Women have four times as many clothes and accessories in their wardrobe that they did in 1980. But recent studies show that women are getting rid of huge amounts of barely worn items every year, with some estimating that the cost of this wastage could be as high as £30 billion!
Roberta Lucca, co-founder of Wonderluk is tackling this challenge head-on, aiming to change the way fashion works, and make it personal again.

The company, co-founded by Roberta and Andre Schober in July 2013, creates 3D printed accessories that fit perfectly and give customers a way of truly distinguishing themselves.
All of Wonderluk’s products are printed to demand and shipped to buyers within two weeks; and all can be customised in line with the consumer’s preferences, ensuring that no two products are exactly the same.
Though the prices are slightly higher than those found on the high-street, the increased quality and scope for personalisation mean that Wonderluk’s products are effectively a luxury item, and people don’t throw away luxury items.
It’s a classic case of quality over quantity; however, Wonderluk’s process allows them to undercut the cost of one-off designer or bespoke pieces, meaning that customers can enjoy a bespoke product at a reasonable price.
Wonderluk is a perfect example of how fashion and technology can combine to create a ground-breaking service that simply couldn’t have existed even a few years ago.
