Klikin, a revolutionary loyalty reward startup, is searching for proactive, energetic, and results-driven sales reps to join and grow with the London based sales team.

We are looking for excellent graduate level sales professionals who can successfully develop new business by selling to franchise, chain, or individual pay-at-the-counter food/drink businesses (i.e., coffee & tea shops, fast casual restaurants, QSR, etc.).

Ability to handle pressure and close a deal are key!  Since this is a startup, thinking outside the box and a hands on mentality are essential.

Klikin is loyalty reinvented for your business.

Since its inception in May 2012, Klikin’s only mission has been to provide a platform where retail businesses and customers can interact and get to know each other better.

Klikin is a unique and easy-to-use solution, which allows customers (klikers) to accumulate ‘kliks’ for their purchases at their regular stores and exchange them for advantages designed especially for them. They simply need to download the app on their mobile and ‘klik in’ with the tablet in store. 

Klikin is also a tool for retailers to create a deeper bond with their customers, as they get to know them and their purchasing habits better. This encourages customer loyalty as customers are more motivated to visit their stores more often. The promotions and gifts (Snaks) also help to drive new customers to the stores. 

Background

In December 2012, Klikin launched version 1.0 of the app, which allowed retail business owners to know more about their customers (their likes, opinions, etc…) and find out what would motivate them to visit their establishments more often.

For the customers, Klikin offered an unprecedented source of information about all the stores, cafes, spas and more around them offering exclusive promotional offers.

Klikin learnt that retailers trade benefited from a program that helps them to reinforce their relationship with their customers as well as helped to attract new ones.  And that customers became more loyal to their favourite stores when they were presented with exclusive offers and packages tailored especially to them.

As a response to this, Klikin’s reinvented loyalty program was born.

Co-Founders

Klikin was founded by Gustavo García Brusilovsky (CEO), Patrick Raibaut (CFO) and Alex Dantart (CTO).

Gustavo is a well-recognized entrepreneur who, in 2006, co-founded BuyVIP and then sold it to Amazon in 2012.

Patrick is an established investor in internet and technology start-ups having invested in BuyVIP and Alice amongst others.

Alex is a computer engineer with a long trajectory in the creation of IT companies with a market innovative character. In 2002 he founded Sync.es, an ISP of integral solutions for connectivity and in 2007 he created Uptimiza, a company specializing in the management and optimization of IT departments.

Responsibilities

The sales representatives will be responsible for:

  • Conducting a high volume of face-to-face meetings with business owners (cafes, restaurants, retail stores etc) on a daily basis
  • Selling SaaS product to these business owners
  • Developing new business through cold-calling
  • Leveraging existing relationships and generating new leads and referrals  
  • Identifying customer needs and utilising solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of Klikin’s products and services  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • Likeable and relatable, but highly competitive
  • 6+ months of successful, high volume face-to-face outside sales experience (with the numbers to prove it) 
  • Uncanny ability to locate new business owners, through various social media sources such as Yelp, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc. 
  • Enjoys working in a startup environment (i.e. highly flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment)
  • High level of integrity, customer service, and customer management skills 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to hit aggressive sales objectives while being a team player 
  • Resourceful, assertive, and comfortable taking risks to achieve these goals 
  • Independent and self-motivated 
  • Ability to handle multiple detailed projects simultaneously while adapting to changing roles and priorities
  • ABC means more to you than a reference to the alphabet

Preferred:

  • Successfully sold to franchise, chain, or individual pay-at-the-counter food/drink businesses (i.e., coffee & tea shops, fast casual restaurants, QSR, etc.) 
  • Has a 'rolodex' of business owner contacts in the SMB space 
  • Demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment 
  • Startup experience 
  • Multilingual
