Opportunity: Marketing Manager, Colour Cosmetics Brand, London, UK
Our client is a new colour cosmetics brand headquartered in Madrid, Spain.
Founded by industry experts, the brand has received significant investment to develop and grow internationally.
The founders are looking to hire a Marketing Manager responsible for reinforcing the brand’s reputation as the world’s number one destination for colour cosmetics.
The Marketing Manager will develop and deliver an effective annual marketing strategy for key cosmetics and accessories departments across all brand’s channels.
The position is based in London, UK, but would require international travel.

Role Responsibilities
- Designing effective marketing activities and marketing events and finding exciting new ways to engage with customers in store and online
- Work with the Product Manager, suppliers and brand partners to make sure we have the right products in the right place at the right time for key launch dates
- Work with the product Manager to supply all consumer insight, marketing positioning and product copy when developing new products
- Manage all content production with agencies
- Key point of contact for shareholders businesses in relation to PR and Marketing
- Build a close working relationship with the Press to ensure maximum PR coverage on brand/product launches and events
- Owner of the communication strategy, work closely with BMD to ensure that the product strategy is understood and developed to ensure commercial messages are delivered though strong campaigns
- Devise an events and digital strategy that provide an exciting customer experience as well as ensuring a commercial return on investment
- Driving multiple campaigns forward simultaneously, this individual will engage group functional experts and brand partners to strive for excellence
- Responsible for all marketing orders by managing, monitoring and reporting on marketing costs
- Create, manage and execute all trading campaigns for all channels
- Be the voice and point of escalation for marketing centrally. Identify roadblocks before they emerge; escalate issues through the appropriate people to gain resolution quickly
- Create, manage, and execute campaigns within budget, set deadlines inline with the group and partner events
- Maintain awareness of group initiatives, compliance, systems and technology to consider for International Partnerships
- Maintain the Marketing Section of the Franchise Operating Manual

- Must act independently and be self-motivated. Prioritizes, manages, and meets deadlines
- Confident, innovative and commercially minded
- Flexible - travel may be required
Knowledge and Experience
- Substantial experience in international retail environment
- Strong digital experience working within entrepreneurial and creative B2B/B2C environments
- Strong track record of producing creative & digital strategies that deliver significant return on investment
- Excellent communication skills
- Have cross-functional and brand expertise with the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure with enthusiasm
- Experience of managing different types of partnerships such as franchisee or JV partners is desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of all head office functions
- College or University – qualification in English and Project Management are desirable
- Degree or higher in Marketing
