Opportunity: Key Account Manager, Benelux / Italy - Global Licensee Specialist
Our client, a global brand licensee specialist in children's apparel & accessories, is looking to expand its international commercial team.
They are currently seeking two Key Account Managers, one for Benelux and one for Italy, based in their respecting regions.
The group’s aim is to create sustainable sales, build strong relationships with customers and ensure they get the right product at the right time.

The Role
The group is going through a period of rapid growth and has set very ambitous targets for the next three years.
The KAM will be responsible for developing the business for the brands in the relevant territories.
This includes building on existing business (USG, AS Adventure, United Brands, Intersport, Athlete's World, Ciselfa, Gruppo Coin etc.) as well as identifying new opportunities.
Supported by a team based in the UK, the role requires someone who can work autonomously.
The targets are all major accounts as well as some key independents.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving Business
- Develop a business plan for each brand
- Identify potential partners
- Build detailed sales forecasts by brand
- Negotiate deals with each partner
- Execute sell-in in a timely manner
- Monitor sell out and report back to head office
- Re-orders and clearance
- Participate in the buying process with the Brand Managers
- Develop open communication with departments in head office, UK (Supply Chain, Customer Support, IT, Finance, Brand Management)
Key Performance Indicators
- Net sales (pre-orders, re-orders, clearance)
- Sales vs forecasts
- Number of accounts opened
YOUR PROFILE
Skills and Experience – Must Have
- At least two years experience in a similar role
- Experience managing key accounts as well as developing new business
- Experience in the territory (Benelux or Italy)
- Existing relationships with major accounts
- Commitment to achieving and exceeding targets
- Excellent communications skills
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Personal Qualities
- Strong business sense and results orientated
- Autonomous
- Can do, proactive and positive attitude
- Effective time management skills and decision making
