Our client is a well known Italian fashion brand, specialised in ready-to-wear (womens, mens and childrens). 

They are building a new HQ and team in Zurich and are looking for a talented senior District Manager to drive the Swiss wholesale market. The role will provide cross functional support and guidance to the team regarding retail buying, VM and corporate identity. 

The role is based in Zurich, Switzerland, but you can be live anywhere in central Switzerland.

Role responsibilities

• Successfully translate the sales strategy into commercially impactful actions
• Establish, maintain and expand the existing wholesale customer base
• Develop business opportunities through various routes to market
• Together with the Country Manager and the team, develop sales strategies and set targets for Switzerland
• Be part of the international Switzerland team in Zurich

Your Profile 

• You have significant wholesale sales experience in fashion and a strong understanding of the Swiss wholesale landscape
• ​You are excellent at analyzing sales figures and have a good affinity with numbers and sales KPIs
• You have experience in collecting customer feedback and market research/CRM
• You are able to manage and communicate effectively with key accounts, the sales teams (Store Managers, Sales staff), VM
• You have leadership experience and ideally an international background
• You possess strong organizational skills, are used to working in an independent and solution oriented way within an international team
• You bring flexibility, enthusiasm and team spirit
• You are an excellent communicator
• You have a superb feeling for fashion trends, especially for the Swiss Market
• You appreciate a dynamic, hands-on environment, in which you can create, move fast and bring in your ideas to improve company performance and client management
• You speak very good German, French and English. Italian would be a plus
• Ideally you have a University degree
